Shipping Policy

FedEx is delivering most in stock orders within 2 business days for the continental U.S..  Please allow for additional time during the holiday season.

Expedited In Stock Orders placed before 12 p.m. EST Monday - Friday will be shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 12 p.m. EST will not be processed until the following business day. Weekend delivery is not guaranteed on expedited orders.

Please note: Our mobile unit is closed on Mondays, expedited orders with items from our mobile unit placed on Monday will automatically ship on Tuesday. Please be sure to leave a valid daytime phone number so we can reach you in the unlikely event this occurs. 

Expedited service is unavailable to P.O. Boxes.

Due to COVID19 lingering in some countries of manufacture, we highly recommend placing orders early to make sure your purchases arrive in time for the holidays.

Free shipping promotion does not guarantee holiday arrival.

We suggest orders placed after 12/18 be shipped expedited for the best chance of timely arrival.

Please be aware that FEDEX and USPS are not guaranteeing holiday delivery, even on expedited services.

Domestic ground shipping within the continental United States is free for most items on our website on orders $75.00 or more.

Due to rising fuel rates, we are currently unable to extend our free shipping policy to Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico. These packages are offered the most economical shipping rates offered by our courier services.

We are happy to ship your products to these locations via FedEx for the current going rate. 

International & Expedited shipping options are available on our website for an additional charge. Expedited orders to most locations are sent using FedEx.

Most customers will see their in-stock items in approximately 3 - 7 business days. However, occasionally items are not in stock due to manufacturers' delay. We will notify you by telephone or email of any delay or backorder. PLEASE BE SURE TO PROVIDE A DAYTIME PHONE NUMBER AND ADD OUR DOMAIN TO YOUR LIST OF CONTACTS. 864-457-3557 

 *For Custom Items such as tack trunks, custom boots, bits, saddle pads, half pads, or any other customized horse or rider apparel: approximately 4-8 weeks from order date and are non-refundable. Please check your custom orders carefully. 

*Please note that most manufacturers have a Christmas cut-off for special orders, which is approximately the first week of November.

Due to rising shipping costs, we have had to discontinue our free shipping with no minimum promotion. Orders over $50 receive free shipping. We are unable to offer free shipping on items considered heavy by our shipping services. These items will now be charged shipping by weight and will no longer be eligible for free shipping. This primarily affects large bottles of chemicals, C02 cartridges, and Ogilvy products.  

These rates apply to residents within the continental United States. International & Expedited shipping options are available on our website for an additional charge.

Phone orders can be picked up at the store, a mobile location if available, shipped to your residence or even to your hotel room at the horse show. 

Shipping for phone orders is very reasonable but varies by weight and cost of the item. 

We could cram a beautiful new show jacket or show shirt into a bubble wrap shipping bag. 

But who wants to receive a beautiful new show coat that's a wrinkled mess after surviving the abuse of the postal system? 

We take great care to ship show jackets and shirts in specially designed boxes so that when they arrive, you can walk right into the show ring with confidence.  ~ Another great benefit when having your items shipped to a horse show office, or your hotel room! 

Expedited shipping varies by the weight, value, and cost of the item. 

We are happy to quote you for 3-day, 2-day, and overnight deliveries. 

Unfortunately, free shipping does not apply to internet orders which require expedited shipping. 

Same-day shipping is available for all in-stock items for orders placed before 12 p.m. EST.

We ensure to provide tracking information for your order as soon as it is available. Once your order is shipped from our vendor or from our warehouse, the tracking information will be emailed to you. In case your product is shipped directly by the vendor, the tracking details will be shared with you as well. Please check your email for tracking details after your order has been confirmed as shipped.

Loyalty Rewards

Farm House Tack Rewards is our rewards program where you earn points for any Farm House Tack purchase. 

Points can later be redeemed for dollars off your purchase at farmhousetack.com. There are three levels of rewards, and as you advance to a higher level, you unlock more savings!

Loyalty rewards are offered to customers who create an account and sign up for the program. As a member, you'll get closer to earning exclusive rewards every time you shop. 

You earn points for every dollar you spend. You must be signed in to your account in order to earn points on your purchase. Creating an account, following on social, adding your birthday, and leaving reviews will also help you earn points. Once you earn enough points you get rewards. 

You can redeem these points for a discount code on your future purchases!

Create an account on one of the links above, verify your email and you'll be enrolled. Just log in to access your points and rewards. You'll get 50 points just for becoming a member! Each time you come back, make sure you log in to track your points progress, and your transaction history and to redeem points on your orders.

If you have multiple rewards to redeem, you can only use one at a time. We do not allow code stacking on farmhousetack.com.

You can use your points at checkout for $25, $75, or $200 off your purchase of at least $50 or more. Once logged in and ready to check out, go to the rewards page and click "redeem points" at the point level you would like to redeem. A popup will appear on your screen with your code that can be used in the "discount" section at checkout.

Points are good for one year after each purchase. Farm House Rewards points will expire if you have not earned or redeemed any FHT earnings for one year.

Yes! Click the ‘start referring now’ button on the rewards page and begin entering your friend’s email addresses. If your friend(s) makes a qualifying order over $100 on our website, you get a ten dollar ($10) reward and your friend gets a ten dollar ($10) reward. The discount reward can be used on your next order made on our website. 

Please allow 48 hours for your one hundred (100) reward points to appear on your account page once your friend(s) places a qualifying order over $100 (excluding all shipping fees and taxes rounded down to the nearest dollar).

Yes, at the moment points are not available to use on used saddles, custom bits, Ogilvy pads, safety vests, and Tailored Sportsman items.  

Return & Exchange

Return the item to us within 30 days of purchase for a refund or exchange on qualifying items.  

  • Discounted items are final sale, and do not qualify for a refund.
  • Items must be returned in unused, new condition.
  • Consignment items need to be returned in the same condition in which they left the store in.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Items must be returned to us in new condition, this includes the product's original packaging.
  • Custom products, treats, oral supplements, and bits are ineligible for refunds.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after your return has been received.

A 15% restocking / open box fee will apply to all products returned with damaged or defaced manufacturer packaging. To avoid this fee, please put all returns or exchanges in appropriate packing materials such as a separate box or shipping bag. Items returned to us with shipping labels, tape, and handwriting on the manufacturer's box will be automatically subject to the 15% open box/restocking fee. 


Shipping charges are non-refundable. Items qualifying for free shipping that are returned will have shipping costs deducted from the refund.  

If you need to return an item, complete the return paperwork sent with your purchase and ship it back to us with your contact information. If you are returning a high-value item, we recommend insuring your package. 

Click HERE to download the Return/Exchange Form and print off a copy. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. 

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time frame includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Saddle Trial Policy

You can order a saddle to take on trial over the phone, or onsite at our Landrum location. You may try any of our new or used saddles using a credit card for the full price of the saddle plus shipping. After the saddle arrives at your location, you will have four days to decide if you want to keep it or return it. On day four, we’ll need to hear from you with “Yes! I want it.” or a tracking number for its return. 

Phone orders and onsite sales have the option of doing a credit card authorization for a saddle trial. Due to server limitations, at this time saddle trials using credit card authorizations are not available for website saddle purchases. The authorization policy offers quicker refunds in the event the saddle does not work for you or your horse. 

Please note, when using the card authorization method for your phone or Landrum purchase we must hear from you with the status of your trial period on the fourth day. Simply let us know that you are keeping the saddle or a return tracking number showing the saddle is coming back to us. If we don’t hear from you on the fourth day of your trial, your card is charged and the saddle is considered sold. 

If weather interferes with your ability to try your saddle, please call us during store hours for an extension of your trial period and authorization before the fourth day. Call Mon-Fri 9am-6pm or Sat 9am-4pm. Telephone: 864-457-3557

If the saddle is not suitable for you and/or your horse, you may return it at your expense. Use the box and protective wrapping it arrived in, and remember to include any other items that came with it (i.e., cover, leathers, irons, pads, extra gullet plates, etc.) Please do not add shipping peanuts to the box!

Please remember, call us with a return tracking number by the fourth day of your trial period to avoid having your card charged. We can arrange for a UPS pickup if you are unable to get to a shipping center in time. We charge $50 for this service, including the shipping charge. Please call us at 864-457-3557 for details.

Saddles purchased and then returned after the trial policy period incur a 20% restocking fee.

Handle a new saddle carefully, please. Keep it separate from oiled tack to avoid staining. Wrap your leathers – plastic wrap or tube socks with the toe cut off do a good job of protecting the flaps without adding too much bulk under your leg. Keep your ride time reasonable to avoid sweat staining the saddle. Please don’t ride in the rain or other adverse conditions as this may affect your ability to return the saddle if it does not work. If the weather is not cooperating, just let us know and we can work out an extension. 

Because they’re pre-loved, used saddles may be tried without wrapping the leathers and for a longer period of time. Take a lesson, take a trail ride. But please do be careful to preserve the condition of the saddle.

Most of our used saddle prices are open for negotiation. We ask you to try the saddle first, to make sure it’s suitable for you and your horse. If you decide you want to keep it, call us with your offer before the end of the trial period and we will contact the consignor for acceptance or a counter-offer.

Warranty

We want you to have a great experience with your purchases from us. If for any reason a product does not perform to your expectations, please contact us immediately. 

We will happily assist you in contacting the manufacturer and working out an amicable resolution including but not limited to repair or replacement

of the product in question at the manufacturer's discretion. Often the manufacturers will want to see the product before deciding the best course of action. 

This is so the company can see what went wrong and improve on their design.  We proudly carry equipment and apparel from manufacturers who are willing to stand behind the integrity of their products. We will do everything we can to make it right.

Due to rising credit card fraud, all online orders are subject to verification through a 3rd party service. Customers are responsible for all related duties and taxes for shipments outside the USA. Please note Ariat products are unable to be shipped outside of the United States and therefore excluded from international shipments.
